Privacy Policy: what this website collects and why

This Policy explains what personal data the MOSTAGRO website collects, on what basis, what happens to it, how long it is kept and how to contact us about it. It covers the contact form, the visitor counter, server logs and the third-party services this site loads.

Effective date: 4 September 2026. Also read the Terms of Use.

1. Operator

Who is responsible for your data

The website most-agro.com is operated by OOO MOSTAGRO (the "Operator", "we"), a company registered in the Russian Federation: OGRN 1227700328844, INN 9701208412, KPP 770101001. Registered address: 105066, Moscow, Basmanny municipal district, Nizhnyaya Krasnoselskaya St., 39, bldg. 1. The full legal card is on the About page.

For any question or request about your personal data, use the same channels as for a trade enquiry: email the export desk via the link below, call +44 7520 640596, or write to the registered address.

export@most-agro.trade

2. Applicable law

Which rules govern this processing

The Operator is a Russian legal entity. Personal data is processed in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 "On Personal Data" and related regulations of the Russian Federation. The supervisory authority is the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor).

Where the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies by virtue of its territorial scope, the Operator also processes the personal data of the persons concerned in accordance with the GDPR; see section 8. Where other mandatory foreign data-protection law applies, the Operator will process personal data in accordance with such applicable requirements.

3. Contact form

What you send us through the form

The form on the Contact page asks for the following fields. Only name and email are required; the rest is optional and used solely to price your enquiry.

  • Full name and email address (required)
  • Company, phone number
  • Product, destination country, destination port, estimated volume in metric tons
  • Requirements — free text you choose to write

When you submit, the form content is sent as an email to the MOSTAGRO export desk mailbox (an address on most-agro.com). The email also records the IP address and browser user-agent string of the submission, and the date and time at which you gave consent, so that we can distinguish genuine enquiries from automated spam and evidence your consent.

The form data is not stored in a database on this website. It exists only in the email delivered to our mailbox. The email is relayed through our mail provider's SMTP server (Hostinger) over an encrypted connection.

Purpose and legal basis

Purpose: to answer your enquiry and, if you proceed, to prepare a quotation and a sales contract.

Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the consent box before you submit the form (Art. 6(1)(1) of Law 152-FZ). Where you ask us to prepare a quotation or a contract, the processing is additionally necessary for the preparation and conclusion of a contract at your initiative (Art. 6(1)(5) of Law 152-FZ). You may withdraw your consent at any time using the contacts in section 1; withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it, and we may retain data where the law requires us to.

Retention

Enquiry emails are kept in the export desk mailbox for 24 months from the last interaction with you. If the correspondence leads to a contract, the deal file (contract, documents and related correspondence) is kept separately for as long as necessary to perform the contract and to meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations.

Anti-spam protection

To protect the form from automated abuse the server applies a rate limit: it keeps a short-lived record of how many submissions arrived from your IP address within the last 10 minutes. The IP is stored as a one-way hash and the record is deleted automatically once the 10-minute window has passed (and in any case within 24 hours). The form also contains a hidden field that only automated scripts fill in; submissions with that field completed are discarded.

4. Website visits

Visitor counter and server logs

Every page of this site loads a 1×1 pixel image served by our own server. When it is requested, the server appends one line to a monthly statistics file with: date and time, page address, your IP address, browser user-agent string, the referring page (if any) and the country derived from the IP address. Repeated views of the same page from the same address within 10 minutes are counted once. Known search-engine and SEO crawlers are excluded.

The country lookup is performed locally on our server against an offline copy of the DB-IP Lite country database; your IP address is not sent to any third party for this purpose. The counter does not set cookies and does not use JavaScript fingerprinting.

Independently of the counter, the web server (nginx) keeps standard access and error logs containing IP address, requested URL, time, response code and user-agent. These are used for security monitoring and troubleshooting.

Purpose: to understand which pages and markets attract interest, to detect and prevent abuse, and to keep the website running securely. Legal basis under Law 152-FZ: processing necessary for the operation of the website and the protection of the Operator's rights (Art. 6(1)(7)); no profiling or automated decision-making is performed.

Retention

  • Web-server (nginx) access and error logs — no longer than 90 days; they are rotated daily and deleted automatically.
  • Visitor-counter files containing IP addresses, timestamps or other identifiers — 12 months, then deleted automatically.
  • Fully anonymised, aggregated statistics (page counts per country or month, with no possibility of identifying a person) may be kept without a set time limit.
5. Cookies and technical data

Cookies

The public pages of most-agro.com — home, products, markets, prices, routes, logistics, news, contact and the legal pages — do not set any cookies and do not use localStorage. There is no advertising, analytics or social-media tracking script on this site, so no cookie banner is shown and no separate cookie policy is required.

The separate letter-verification tool at /verify-letter, used by counterparties to check the authenticity of an outgoing MOSTAGRO letter by its code, uses one strictly technical session cookie for request-forgery protection. It is deleted when you close the browser and is not used for tracking.

Third-party services

  • WhatsApp. The "WhatsApp" buttons are plain links to wa.me. Nothing is sent to WhatsApp until you click; after that, WhatsApp's (Meta's) terms and privacy policy apply.
  • Email delivery. Contact-form emails are relayed through Hostinger SMTP, our mail provider, acting on our instructions as a processor.

We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone else. Data is disclosed only where required by law or where necessary to perform a contract you have entered into with us (for example, to a freight forwarder or inspection company named in the sales contract).

6. Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent

You may ask us at any time what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw the consent you gave through the form. Because form submissions are held only as emails, deletion means removing the relevant emails from the export desk mailbox.

Send your request through the contact channels in section 1. We reply within 10 working days of receiving a proper request. Where necessary, this period may be extended by no more than 5 further working days, in which case we will notify you of the extension and its reasons. To protect your data we may ask you to confirm your identity — for example, by writing from the email address used in the enquiry.

If you believe your rights have been violated, you may lodge a complaint with Roskomnadzor or apply to a court. EU/EEA residents may also contact their local supervisory authority (section 8).

7. Where data is stored

Hosting and cross-border transfer

The website and the visitor-counter files are hosted on a server located in a data centre in France. Enquiry emails are delivered to a mailbox provided by Hostinger; that mailbox is also located in a data centre in France.

Because the website serves buyers outside the Russian Federation, your data may be transferred across borders when we reply to you. Any such transfer is carried out in compliance with Chapter 2 of Law 152-FZ and, where applicable, Chapter V of the GDPR.

8. EU/EEA visitors

Additional information under the GDPR

This section applies only where the GDPR applies by virtue of its territorial scope (Art. 3 GDPR). In that case, the controller is OOO MOSTAGRO (section 1), and the legal bases are:

  • Contact form — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, where you ask for a quotation or contract, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Visitor counter, server logs and anti-spam measures — our legitimate interest in operating, securing and improving the website and in preventing fraud and abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

In addition to the rights in section 6, you have the right to data portability, to restrict processing and to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your EU/EEA member state. Transfers to the Russian Federation, which is not covered by an EU adequacy decision, take place on the basis of Art. 49(1)(a) (explicit consent) and Art. 49(1)(b) (necessity for pre-contractual steps at your request) GDPR.

9. Changes

Changes to this Policy

We update this page when the way the website handles data changes. The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes to how form data is used will be reflected in the consent text on the Contact page.
