How to reach the desk
Use the form, email or phone. For urgent stems — a vessel already in the Black Sea, a tender deadline, a missed laycan — call. Otherwise the form is enough if it names the four commercial fields.
Grade, volume, port and Incoterms
A price without those four fields is not a price. The desk will not invent CIF Mersin when you meant FOB Novorossiysk, and will not assume 12.5% protein when you need 11.5% biscuit wheat or 13.5% for blending. Put the four fields in the Requirements box even if you also filled Volume and Destination Country.
- Grade — e.g. milling wheat 12.5% protein, feed barley, corn, pulses. GOST or tender spec if you have one.
- Volume — metric tons, with a tolerance if the tender requires it. Bulk stems typically from 3,000 MT; bagged from 500 MT.
- Port — load port (Novorossiysk, Tuapse, Taman, Azov, Rostov-on-Don) or discharge port (Mersin, Marmara, Damietta, Bandar Abbas, inland DAP point).
- Incoterms — FOB, CIF, CFR or DAP. See logistics if you are unsure which term you actually want.
Useful extras: packing (bulk, 50 kg, 1 MT big-bags, private label), laycan month, whether inspection must be SGS or BlaCtrl is acceptable, and whether the buyer is a mill, a feed plant, a GASC-type tender desk or an Afghanistan DAP distributor. None of that replaces the four fields.
What the named trader does in 24 hours
A complete enquiry gets a firm offer: specification, volume, Incoterms, named port, validity, and the inspection and document list that will sit in the Sales Contract. If the stem is a standard FOB Novorossiysk milling-wheat sale or a CIF Mersin mill programme, the desk already knows the freight and the usual 4–7 day Black Sea transit into Turkey. Non-standard discharge (Red Sea Egypt, Bandar Abbas, DAP Herat) takes the same 24-hour clock if volume and term are clear; it does not take a week of "we are checking".
Acceptance is followed by proforma, Sales Contract and digital-asset escrow locked before loading. Funds release against bill of lading, phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin and SGS report — not against a promise. The sequence is written on how grain export works. Mills, feed buyers, tenders, DAP inland
Write if you buy Russian grain as a principal: a flour mill or blender taking bread-grade wheat, a compound-feed plant taking barley or non-GMO corn, a state or GASC-type tender desk that needs 12.5% protein and a full documentary pack, or a distributor moving bagged wheat DAP into Afghanistan via Iran. Do not write if you are offering to "introduce buyers" or to resell our offer into a chat group. The contract names MOSTAGRO as seller and you as buyer.
Typical first stems are milling wheat FOB Novorossiysk or CIF Mersin. Iran programmes use the Caspian / Bandar Abbas corridors; Egypt is FOB or CIF to Mediterranean and Red Sea ports; Afghanistan is DAP bags and big-bags. Capacity across the book is 2.5M MT per year, 40+ destination countries, 18+ years in this trade. A first order does not have to be Panamax. It does have to be a real grade, a real volume and a real term.
If you already have a specification PDF from a previous Russian supplier, attach the parameters in the Requirements field (protein, gluten, falling number, moisture, admixture). We will map them to GOST 9353-2016 grades where they fit, or tell you they do not. That is faster than asking us to "send all specs" and then discovering the mill cannot take 14% gluten wheat.
Payment on accepted stems is digital-asset escrow: funds lock at contract signing and release against shipping documents. You do not need to open a letter of credit. You do need a company name on the contract and a destination that matches the Incoterms you asked us to price. A quote is not a booking; loading starts after escrow is locked, as described in the five-step process.
