Panamax freight into Egyptian wheat tenders
Egypt buys Black Sea wheat on Panamax stems, 40–50k MT, not Handysize. That is why this freight line exists separately from Turkey. The mid drifted 18–24 through the first half, printed 18 USD/MT in June–July, then ran 25 → 33 → 39 → 45 in four weeks to 15 August — the sharpest water move on the board, +6 this week.
A GASC or private Egyptian CIF is still not FOB wheat plus 45. Inspection, discharge and tender terms sit on the GASC Egypt wheat route and the Russia–Egypt market page. Handysize into Turkey is this other series. Grain itself: Russian 12.5% FOB.
Live board: Black Sea prices and freight. For an Egypt stem, send the tender or discharge.
