Reading the Black Sea soybean series

Black Sea soybeans are a small export line — Ukraine is the main regional origin — and the quote is less regular than the South American or US series. The archive holds 29 scans and the last print is 22 August 2026; the 29 August scan did not carry this series.

The mid rose from 405 to 465 USD/MT (+60, about 15%). The low was the first print and the high 465 on 1 August, which was also the largest weekly move (+17.5); the series then held that level.

Black Sea beans were quoted level with Argentine beans in late January; on the last print of 22 August they stood 30 dollars under Argentine, 35 under US Gulf and 40 under Brazilian beans. Because the print is intermittent, read a missing week as "not quoted" rather than "unchanged".
